The State of North Carolina Department of Information Technology Data Sharing Workshop Program

The North Carolina Department of Information Technology’s Broadband Infrastructure Office (NC DIT) is conducting data sharing workshops with the goal of enhancing data sharing across the State of North Carolina. The data sharing workshops will identify data sharing opportunities, gaps, best practices, and explore governance and policies that need to be updated or established across the State of North Carolina.

Participants and contributors to these workshops will include members from public safety agencies (law enforcement, fire services, emergency medical response, emergency management and 9-1-1 officials). These members may include line responders, data analysts, IT staff, and executive staff. It would also provide a unique perspective to the discussion to include entities that may be called upon to support public safety during the time of an emergency or its aftermath such as utilities, public works, broadcasters, etc. Attendees of the workshop should be prepared to participate as it will be a discussion-based workshop.
